What is NozeCalm™?

NozeCalm™ is a professional-grade nasal plug designed to quickly stop mild to moderate nosebleeds. It gently expands inside the nostril and delivers a clotting agent to help stop the bleeding fast—no mess, no stress.

What should I do if I get a nosebleed and don’t have NozeCalm™ with me?

If you don’t have NozeCalm™ on hand, follow these steps:

  1. Don’t lie down—this reduces blood pressure in your nose and helps slow the bleeding.
  2. This prevents blood from flowing down your throat, which can cause nausea or vomiting.
  3. Use your thumb and index finger to pinch your nose just below the bridge and hold firmly for 10–15 minutes without letting go.
  4. Place a cold pack or ice wrapped in cloth on the bridge of your nose to constrict blood vessels.

If bleeding lasts more than 15–20 minutes, or happens frequently, seek medical attention.

Where can I buy NozeCalm™?

You can find NozeCalm™ online, including on Amazon and Walmart. We're also working with select pharmacies and first aid suppliers. Not sure where to buy? Visit product page

How does NozeCalm™ work?

Each NozeCalm™ plug is infused with a clotting agent and made of a soft, absorbent material that gently expands on contact. It applies light pressure and helps form a stable clot, so bleeding stops quickly and painlessly.

What is the clotting agent used in NozeCalm™?

NozeCalm™ uses micro-oxidized cellulose, a clotting agent that promotes rapid blood clotting. It’s been safely used in medical settings and is known for its effectiveness in stopping bleeding quickly.

How do I use NozeCalm™?

  1. Gently insert one plug into the bleeding nostril.
  2. Apply light pressure from the outside.
  3. Leave in place until the bleeding stops—usually within minutes.
  4. To remove, pull out slowly. The plug won’t stick to the clot.

Is NozeCalm™ safe for children?

Yes! NozeCalm™ is safe for children, but we recommend adult supervision. You can also trim the plug for a better fit in smaller noses.

Can I cut NozeCalm™ to make it smaller?

Absolutely. NozeCalm™ can be trimmed to fit smaller nostrils—perfect for kids or anyone with a petite nose.

Who can use NozeCalm™?

Anyone prone to nosebleeds—kids, adults, athletes, seniors, allergy sufferers, or those on blood thinners—can use NozeCalm™. It’s a must-have for home, school, and first aid kits.

Does it hurt to remove NozeCalm™?

Not at all. NozeCalm™ is designed for painless removal. The non-stick coating helps you remove it without disturbing the clot or causing rebleeding.

Can I use NozeCalm™ if I’m on blood thinners?

Yes. NozeCalm™ is often recommended for people on blood thinners because it supports fast clotting and doesn’t rely on medication.

Is NozeCalm™ sterile?

Yes. Each plug is individually packaged and sterilized to ensure it’s clean and safe to use.

What if the bleeding doesn’t stop?

If your nosebleed lasts more than 15 minutes, or keeps recurring, seek medical attention. NozeCalm™ is intended for mild to moderate nosebleeds.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to buy NozeCalm™?

Yes. NozeCalm™ is eligible under most HSA/FSA plans. Be sure to save your receipt and check with your provider to confirm.

Can I travel with NozeCalm™?

Definitely. Each plug is wrapped in a compact foil pouch—perfect for bags, backpacks, or glove compartments. Always ready when you need it.

What makes NozeCalm™ different from tissue or cotton?

Unlike tissue or cotton, which can stick to clots and cause rebleeds, NozeCalm™ stops the bleeding and ensures painless removal. It’s clean, quick, and medically designed.
