How to Use NozeCalm Nasal Moisturizer

What it does

NozeCalm™ Nasal Moisturizer coats the front of the nasal passages to relieve dryness and irritation from indoor heat/AC, seasonal air changes, travel, CPAP/oxygen use, and frequent nosebleeds. Always read the product’s full ingredient list. Do not use if you’re sensitive or allergic to any ingredient.


Before you begin 

  • Wash your hands. Clean hands = clean application.
  • Gently clear your nose. Blow softly or dab with a tissue.
  • Choose an applicator. A clean fingertip or a fresh cotton swab works best. Don’t double‑dip.

For intranasal use only. Do not use in eyes or mouth. Ask a doctor before use in children under 2.


Step by step (Adults & children 2+) 

  1. Dispense a pea‑sized amount of moisturizer onto a clean fingertip or a fresh cotton swab.
  2. Apply just inside the nostril (the front 1/2 inch / 1 cm). Do not insert deeply.
  3. Coat evenly by gently massaging the inner walls and lower septum.
  4. Repeat on the other nostril with a new swab or a clean finger.
  5. Breathe normally for 30–60 seconds to let it settle. Avoid sniffing hard.

How much? A pea‑sized amount per nostril is usually enough. Use less for children.

How often? 2–3 times daily or as needed—common times are morning, bedtime, and before dry‑air exposure (planes, heated rooms, CPAP/oxygen use).


 

For kids 

  • For young children, use a very small amount and apply only to the front of the nostril.
  • If you’re unsure, ask a pediatrician before use.


Do / Don’t 

Do

  • Do use a fresh swab for each nostril.
  • Do wipe the tube tip clean and recap tightly after each use.
  • Do stop use if irritation occurs.

Don’t

  • Don’t insert deep cotton swabs or objects into the nose.
  • Don’t share your tube with others.
  • Don’t use on broken, actively bleeding, or infected skin—seek care first.


When to stop & seek medical advice 

  • You develop burning, stinging, rash, or swelling.
  • Symptoms persist or worsen after several days of regular use.
  • You have frequent nosebleeds, severe crusting, or signs of infection.

Active nosebleed? This moisturizer is not for controlling bleeding. For an active nosebleed, follow standard first‑aid steps or use an appropriate nosebleed product and seek medical care if bleeding lasts more than 15 minutes.


Storage & shelf life 

  • Store at room temperature away from extreme heat/cold.
  • Keep the cap closed to prevent drying.
  • Keep out of reach of children.


FAQs

Will it feel greasy? A thin layer is all you need; any extra can be gently dabbed away with a tissue.

Can I use it with CPAP/oxygen? Yes—apply a thin layer before using your device to reduce friction and dryness.

Can I wear it under a mask? Yes. Let it settle for ~1 minute before masking.

Is daily use okay? Yes, use as needed for comfort.
